Jayden's Birthday Party at Pump It Up!

We went to Jayden's birthday party at Pump It Up! Haley had so much fun and so did some of the "big" kids :)

Atmore

We traveled to Atmore, AL to see Scott's grandmother, Marlene Forester. We ate so much! We always have a good time at her house. Haley LOVED Scooter (the puppy) and the dancing/singing snowman. Cheryl and Ricky (Scott's aunt and uncle) gave Haley a Doodle-Pro. She loves carrying it around. She gets mad if you try to help her! She's already made numerous masterpieces on it. Shelby and Heath came by as well! Haley gobbled down their peanut butter candy they made. One day it was about all I could get her to eat!

Haley makes a cookie!

Haley had her first cookie making experience! The dough didn't work too well actually cutting out the cookies but Haley had a blast anyways! She made a HUGE mess covered in sprinkles and gel writers. She probably worked on her masterpiece for an hour without hardly even looking up.

Welcoming the newest member of our family....Macie Bowen
Macie was born on Thursday November 20th weighing 8 lbs 14.5 oz and measuring 20.5 inches long!

Cruise and Micah!

Scott and I went on a cruise for 7 days!! We flew to LA, then sailed to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. It was nice to have some "adult" time to dress up and go to formal dinners. However, we missed our baby like CRAZY! Thanks to UAB for sponsoring me on this "seminar cruise"! There are WAY too many pictures to post here. We swam with sea lions, held a baby tiger, and dressed up for Halloween!

While we were away....
Our newest little nephew was born! Welcome Micah!! Micah was born on October 25th to Ryann and David Brown. Congratulations!!

Doctors, Elmo, and spoons!

Haley had her 15 month checkup. Unfortunately, she has dropped from 50% to 10% to 3-5% in height and weight. She is still 28 inches and only gained a pound to put her at 19.5 lbs. This required blood to be drawn (that I drew...stupid lab people) to be sure things are okay. Developmentally, she's walking and talking like she should. Her head growth has also slowed. We are trying to force every possible calorie we can down her and go back in 3 weeks.

On a brighter note, Haley tried to feed herself yogurt with a spoon!



She attempted! It was a good effort Haley :)

Today is Grandmommy's birthday! We just got back from Sesame Street Live! Elmo Plays Music! Haley, Grandmommy, Casper, Arianna, and I all went. To our surprise, I think Casper actually enjoyed it the most. Haley and Arianna were almost asleep at one point. Then, they wanted to jump around and there just isn't much room. It was a very cute show.

ER Visit

Haley experienced her first ER visit last night. I went to mom's house before work. Haley and Casper were playing outside. Haley decided she would try and crawl on the driveway. Being mom, I said "no you can't crawl on the driveway, I don't want your knees all scraped up". Well....little miss temper started to throw a fit when I picked her up and jumped up and out of my arms head first onto the driveway. She just laid there face down for a moment and when I picked her up she was screaming with blood coming from her nose and mouth and a knot forming on her forehead. Anyways, she's fine. About an hour after getting to the ER the motrin they gave her had taken effect and she was sitting up playing. She looks awful! The pictures don't really show how bruised she looks.

Anniversary

For all of you who may not know, Scott and I have been together for 10 years as of today!

Light The Night

We had such a good time at Light The Night. Scott, Haley, and I all carried illuminated balloons and walked down from the met almost to 150 and back in Stephen Hand's memory. I collected $945 to go to research and aid to people with leukemia and lymphoma. Stephen, my best friend, passed away Feb. 1, 2008 of lymphoma at 27 years old. We miss him very much. The fundraiser was great! There was live music, food, and all for such a good cause. Stephen's dad came and he carried a gold balloon all the way to 150 in Stephen's memory. Maybe next year we can hit $1000! Thank you for all that donated. It meant so much to me and his family.
We were even on the news! We were spotted in the walk on CBS 42 here during the 10pm newscast.





Haley also really enjoyed the live music and oreo cookies!

Fun with Lucy!

After getting home from Arianna/Granddaddy's birthday party, Haley grabbed an EMPTY Mountain Dew bottle and had some fun with Lucy! Listen to her laugh! And for those of you who are worried, that's Lucy's "play" growl and yes it looks like she's being rough when she's barely even touching Haley.

Happy Birthday Arianna!

Haley and I had a GREAT time at Arianna's birthday party at ChuckECheese! Haley had really enjoyed her first visit to ChuckECheese. I was a bit disappointed it was not the Showbiz that I remember, but she had a blast! A car with Barney in it was her favorite ride. She also really enjoyed a playhouse. Arianna had a My Little Pony cake. When it came time to cut the cake, she yelled "NO NO NO" because she didn't want the pony cut!
